Sharknado, il più brutto film della storia, uno di quei b movies con attori così cani da provocare un effetto contrario, cioè risate incontrollabili… e per questo un film di grande successo. Quando è andato in onda su Syfy ha segnato un record mai visto nemmeno per i grandi film super attesi al cinema: 5000 twit al minuto per tutta la sua ora e mezza scarsa di programmazione, ma soprattutto, commenti inviati da nomi inimmaginabili: Mia Farrow, Shawn Ryan (il creatore di The Shield e di Last Resort), Damon Lindelof che si offriva (ironicamente) di scriverne il sequel e metà dell’industria cinematografica e televisiva americana si sono dati appuntamento per commentare il film mentre andava in onda.
